How the three wicks work

A wide melt pool forms across the jar when all three wicks burn together, rather than leaving a narrow channel through its center. This releases more fragrance at once and fragrances a large, open room faster than a single-wick candle of equal size. Burning only one or two wicks makes the pool smaller and reduces scent throw.

Before and during each burn

Trim the wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting, then light all three. For the first session, allow 2 to 3 hours for wax to melt to the jar’s edge, helping prevent tunnels. Limit any session to 3 hours or less.

Place the candle on a heat-resistant, sturdy surface with no nearby drafts, windows or air vents. Keep children and pets out of reach of it. Always supervise a lit candle; never leave it unattended.
